Automated Architecture Ltd are looking for a Javascript/WebGL Developer who will work with us in developing innovative application solutions for the architecture and construction sector. The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the AUAR Directors, project leads and development team, and may be part of discussions with clients and collaborators. The role will include the design and development of new projects as well as additional functionality to existing systems based on business requirements. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and creative individual who wishes to develop their own field of expertise in a fast-growing company. Essential:

  • At least 3 years commercial development experience
  • BSc or BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any relevant field (practical experience can supersede degree experience)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of OOP Languages: Javascript and/or Typescript
  • WebGL engines and libraries such as Babylon.JS, Three.JS, PlayCanvas (preferred)
  • GIT/Source control
  • Knowledge of various operating systems and browsers (windows, iOS, Android, etc.)
  • Practical experience of agile development methodology
  • A collaborative and team player with excellent communication skills


Nice to have:

  • Experience with .NET Core and C# (used for Tooling)
  • Experience with 3D softwares and game platforms such as Unity or Unreal
  • Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) data model knowledge
  • Autodesk Revit API and app development experience
  • Experience with AI & Machine Learning
  • Experience with Cloud Computing, Cloud DataBase
  • Experience of SQL / NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Google Cloud BigQuery)


Language requirements:

  • Fluent in English

 

Location:

  • Remote (UK only), although a Bristol or London base is preferred.
